Evening called for Zeffirellis – jazz vibes and a film, pint in hand, feeling like locals already. It’s all right on the doorstep, no faffing about with long drives. Days blurred into hill strolls, pub lunches at rustic spots serving proper home-cooked grub, and lazy Lake Windermere gawps just a short hop away. That arrival mayhem? Best icebreaker ever.
