Picked up fresh seafood from a local van – simple as that, pan-fried with spuds from the village shop. Sat by the fire later, sipping Guinness, we laughed about the sat-nav debacle. “Classic us,” I chuckled, staring into the flames. It got me reflecting, you know? Life’s full of those little scrapes – wrong turns, scrapes on the car – but they make the good bits shine brighter.
